About Händig

Simple, affordable and flexible. That is Händig.

It all starts with our brand's name; Händig. This is the Swedish word for easy, handy or useful (han·dig (adjective, adverb) 1. a useful tool, 2. easy to use). It is also a play on the roots of the company. The word "hendig" means "easy" in the South of the Netherlands and is used in many different expressions. Dè minne gai nie? Des hendig! 

We believe in effective design without too much fuss. Our furniture pieces are focussed around working from home and using space flexibly. Office furniture that you can assemble and disassemble easily without the use of screws, glue or tools. 

No matter the size of your space, Händig furniture can fit into your kitchen, living room or bedroom and turns it into an office instantly. This is ideal if you want to use your space flexibly. With the same ease, you are able to disassemble our furniture and store away the pieces.

We design and produce our products ourselves from our workshop in the Netherlands, which allows us to incorporate our user's needs and feedback quickly and enables us to manage our stock efficiently.

Assembling a desk without screws, bolts or tools? It's possible. Our smart design means a fast and easy assembling process for you. You can put together your Händig product within 1 minute. Disassembling is also a piece of cake. Our products are completely screwless and can be assembled straight from the box.

Furniture with ease of use, without losing the Dutch design look. This philosophy of clean and simple is also visible in our use of material. Our products are made from Birch wood, which has a beautiful, minimalistic look and adapts itself to any interior.

Affordable

We design and produce our furniture in the Netherlands. Our design process ensures that we can use as much of the material as possible without creating unnecessary waste. Our design also allows us to package our products in flat boxes that are easy to transport. The cost savings we can achieve from these processes are also felt by our customers in the price per piece of furniture.

Flexible

Flexibility can be found in our designs, the ease of use of our products and the fast delivery. We are here for people who want to be creative with the space that they have available to them. Many people work from home more often these days. Especially in the larger cities and in smaller apartments, it can ben a challenge to create a work space. This is exactly the problem that inspires our designs. We want to offer our customers the possibility to create a temporary home office that is comfortable and fits beautifully within their interior, but that is also easy to disassemble when it is no longere needed.
